About

What is Cruina?

Cruina is a private online home where a family organizes its reunions and gatherings. Relatives keep a member directory and family tree, plan events, register everyone who's coming, and pay the organizer directly. It's built for family reunion organizers and the relatives they invite.

Organize a big family by branch

Large families aren't one list. Cruina lets a family group its relatives into branches, such as the Smith side and the Johnson side, each with its own color, so everyone can find their people in the member directory and on the family tree.

One checkout for the whole household

One person can register their whole household for a Cruina event in a single checkout, including kids, grandparents, and relatives who don't have an account. Kids at or under the event's age cutoff register free, and organizers can choose to accept partial payments so families can pay over time.

Private by default

Each family on Cruina gets its own private space. The member directory, family tree, memorials, photo albums, and events are visible only to invited members. Nothing is public, and nothing shows up in search engines.

Money goes straight to the organizer

Payments on Cruina go directly to the organizer's own Stripe account through Stripe Connect. Cruina never holds a family's money. It's free to use, with a flat 4% platform fee on payments collected and no monthly cost.

No passwords

Cruina members sign in with a one-time code sent by text or email. There's no password to remember or reset.

Who's behind Cruina

Cruina is built by The Smith Syndicate, a small independent company, for families who want to keep showing up for each other. Questions go to support@cruina.com.
